Funk Firm Saffire II Turntable
Funk's flagship turntable lives up to its Saffire namesake, meaning musical ensemble!
Funk Firm's 3-pulley Vector Drive system resolves the yank effect of typical single-pulley tables, making it arguably the best way to rotate a belt-platter.
The nickel Solus control output (pictured above-left) operates as a single-ended, class A stage - monitoring both current and voltage feedback.
Flick a switch at the rear, and LED lights fire up from within Saffire. Refracting about the flowing curves, they create the jewel of the turntable world. Quartz is the standard color, but custom colors are available to special order.
Saffire II is precision-sculpted from solid acrylic and meticulously finished by-hand. Inert and stable, acrylic provides an ideal platform to hold arm and record in a precise relationship. NIckel metal parts complement the acrylic base.

Rotel RSX-1562 7.1 Home Theater Receiver
The RSX-1562 builds on the excellence established by its highly acclaimed predecessor, the RSX-1560, adding new & improved circuitry and technologies developed for the RSP-1572 pre/pro.
For starters, the RSX-1562 has six HDMI 1.4 inputs with 3D capability up to 1080d and two outputs, one with an Audio Return Channel (ARC). It uses new dual 32-bit DSP processors which account for a significant improvement in sound quality.
Digital-to-analog conversion is handled by 24/192 DACs. The RSX-1562 supports all current audio/video formats: Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS Master Audio, DTS HD, and more.
A front-panel USB input for an iPod, iPhone, iPad, or another MP3 player is provided. The USB input provides a digital connection so that the RSX-1562's advanced DACs do the critical decoding. Additionally, the receiver incorporates Bluetooth operation (via an included wireless dongle), so that the physical connection of portable audio players is not required. Multizone outputs provide composite video and analog audio for up to three additional entertainment areas.
And like all Rotel receivers, this unit comes with a five-year parts & labor warranty.
