The restyling of one of the most symbolic loudspeakers is always challenging, but rewarding.

ELECTA Amator III features key technologies and design solutions used and developed for the latest Sonus faber creations. Through the reflex port, you will catch a glimpse of the solid wood rear acoustic chamber of the 1″ tweeter, which features Sonus faber’s Damped Apex Dome technology and “tripod” reminiscent of its predecessor. A 6.5″ mid-woofer specifically developed for this special project utilizes the classic cellulose pulp cone.

The cabinet combines harmoniously – solid walnut wood forms an integral body with the Carrara marble base through a brass insert that illuminates the lines and enhances each material. Hand-applied leather envelopes the rear panel and front baffle, which houses the “Voice of Sonus faber.”
