The RPM 5 Carbon utilizes radical concepts, including many innovations that originate from its big brother, RPM 9 Carbon. A new, low resonance chassis holds an inverted platter bearing with a ceramic ball for reduced rumble. This inverted platter is made from acrylic and is acoustically inert. An outboard 15V AC motor is smoothly driven using an ultra-precision AC generator with DC power supply for enhanced speed stability.

The 9″cc EVO tonearm, which is made from carbon fiber, is suitable for any high-quality MM or MC cartridge. Additional features are a magnetic anti-skating mechanism and a TPE-damped counterweight. All ingredients add up to a miracle in sound and an ultra-stylish look!

RPM 5 Carbon comes complete with a Sumiko Blue Point No. 2 MC cartridge. Offering exceptional performance and musicality, the latest generation Blue Point No. 2 sets a new standard in its price class. This MC cartridge features a moving coil design, high output, 2.5-mV, alloy cantilever, Blue Point-cut elliptical diamond stylus, and standard 1/2″ mounting.

Available in Piano Black, Red, or White Finishes.
